Vivian

This little cutie made me even more convinced that a six month old is the most delightful age ever. What a sweetie she was! She was so happy and so easy going. A beautiful little girl. Thank you Morgan for bringing her in. I am so excited I was able to see her at this most precious stage.

Logan and Aubrey

I met Logan and Aubrey in Rockford today. I had fun with them and they kept me on my toes! I will post more later. I just had to get a few up on my site for you. : )

Go, Spencer, go!

Spencer is turning one! The last time I saw him I took pictures of him in a santa hat. He has grown up! And wow, can this kid move! Many one year olds aren't quite walking yet and this little guy hauls! He was running away, climbing rocks and dashing here and there. He did a really good job, and just as the rain started to fall he decided he was done with his closeup and we called it a day. Thank you for bringing him over again! : )

Taylor

It was so great to have Taylor in again! The last time she came in was when she was 2 months old and while it is amazing to see how much she has grown, I recognized those eyes immediately. She is so easy going and fun and didn't mind being put in a flower pot (as long as she could throw the flowers out). What a fun age and a fun little girl. We even dolled her up a little with a headband for a couple shots (even though we got an eye-roll from daddy). She may grow up to be a hunter like you want her to, Craig, but no camo in her portraits for at least a couple more years! : )

Just like home

It is so fun to see this family; I always have a good laugh and it is genuinely like being at home since I have two boys at pretty much the same ages. Although they are different kids, her boys and my boys share one very important characteristic: they are busy! If anybody told my sons to sit and pose I would laugh at them because it just doesn't happen. Last year when I did Ryan and Travis' portraits I remember doing a lot more chasing than this time. I was surprised how much Travis let us pose him. But, as cooperative as he was, they had other things on their mind--like what kind of treat awaited them after the photos were done. Once again, it was fun hanging out with these two!

Brotherly love (or scheming?! HAHA)

Morning at the beach

It was a chilly but beautiful morning on the beach today. I had the best time with the most wonderful people. I am truly blessed in my life. I have a wonderful family and I have the most wonderful clients. I have met so many people and consider my life fuller because of it. I don't travel to Holland very often but I have to say, wow it is beautiful! If only we lived closer (we want to move to Hudsonville which is so much closer!!) Side note: free photo sessions for life if you buy my house!! : ) Anyway, back to business here. The clouds were beautiful and so was the company I was in. I appreciate their warmth and willingness to run here, there, and everywhere for photos.
I couldn't wait to start working on these. I had fun and LOVE my job!
I'll post more as I get them done. So once again, stay tuned!

Olivia and Carter

I cannot believe how fast these two are growing up. In such a short time Olivia turned from a cute little girl to a big kid. She is so beautiful and has amazing eyes. I remember when Carter was born and now he is three?! Wow time flies. Tony and Greg, you have beautiful children!
