Baby Zuly

Magali and Reid, thank you for coming in with sweet little Zuly today. She is precious and although she didn't particularly enjoy getting her photos taken, she still was adorable and I hope you will find photos to cherish. She'll grow up so fast, now you can remember her as a tiny and precious newborn forever.

Brianna the beauty

When I decided on a name for my business, this is the kind of little one I was thinking of. I LOVE to have six month olds in my studio! They are so much fun and love to smile. Brianna was no exception. She was such a doll and I had so much fun with her. I adore her big eyes and her laid-back nature. When it comes to joy, nobody beams more than a six month old like Brianna.

Not quite sitting yet, but happy to do so with help! : )

Aiden---serenaded!!

Talk about the perfect day for a portrait shoot in Rockford! Great weather (which is great since we already rescheduled due to rain) Town was extremely busy because of the blues band playing, so we headed off in the other direction and had a great time while the music played! Aiden did fantastic! Many little guys his age love to run around, but he was quite content to stay by us and show us his many expressions. He was a charmer, thank you Liz, for letting my camera and I spend some time with him.

We had to visit the same tree we visited 9 months ago. Who is growing faster...the tree or Aiden? I think definitely the latter. : )

Then

Now!

Liz, I know you really wanted a picture of Aiden smelling the flowers. Here is one I took.

Splashing in the river, while listening to two guys playing guitar and singing. More serenading! It was definitely a theme that night!

A girls day out (with one boy)

Ladies, and lots of them---and one cute little three year old boy too ; ) They all came to my studio and had a fun photo shoot. We did individuals of all kids and some sibling portraits, and lots and lots of everything else! I think I will be editing these for a loooong time (which for me is like a week and a half!) ---I somehow managed to snap 500 photos! Yikes! So I will post a few as I get them done. One thing that totally struck me when working on these so far is Carleigh's portraits. What beautiful eyes she has! And Chelsea, she has "the look" down. She is quite the model! I will keep plugging away, so stay tuned for more!

Chelsea, striking her pose. : )

Is she not the cutest?!?!

What a beauty!

4th of July, family style!

We went to my uncle's house on the fourth and he has the most beautiful landscaping. There are photo opportunites everywhere! I needed a little separation from my camera so I didn't get it out until the last hour or so, but then I couldn't stop taking photos. The white fence, rustic barns, huge trees, hills...it is just gorgeous. If I lived anywhere near him I ask if I could bring clients there for photo shoots all the time. It is a picture of an all-american countryside. I saw some extended family that I don't see very often and since my cousin has a little girl and there are NO girls in my family or my near family, I had fun with little Bethany. She is adorable!

Bethany, being cute (of course!)

My uncle has (well...had) a remote control airplane. Unfortunately the plane could only stand about a dozen crashes---afer that it hit the fence head on and pretty much disintegrated.

RED, WHITE, and BLUE!

Laura and Marie

I had the pleasure of working with Laura and Marie and their Mommy, Sarah today. We had fun with the hot pink tutu (my absolute favorite for babies Marie's age). We listened to Dora music and Laura did lots of dancing for us. Sarah and I were working hard to get some smiles. I loved that the girls gave us a good sister shot. Thank you so much for coming in!
