Sisters!

I love to see sisters interact. They seem to anticipate each other's words and then just start giggling. These two seemed really close. They did piggyback rides, danced and I even convinced them to lay in the grass together. It was a fun night. Thank you, Jackie for coming to the field for your session.

Dominic turns one

Dominic, wasn't it just yesterday you were born?! How can you be one? I got such a kick out of his budding personality. He had a trademark grin that he flashed throughout his session. He wasn't too keen on showing his new teeth off, he wanted to keep those hidden behind his grin. But seriously, can a little guy get any cuter? He can stand holding onto something but you'll have to take my word---he refused to be photographed standing. He didn't want his feet in the grass and he preferred sitting on the cement floor at the lodge we were at. I didn't mind---there was some nice brickwork. There he sat, zooming his favorite truck. Another fun day with one of Anne's children. Thanks again, Anne!

Annah and Cy

Annah and Cy are two cuties that I have gotten to know over the last few years. I actually sit behind them in church and they are the cutest kids ever! And Annah is growing up to be a beautiful young lady. I took her out and we had a girls day away. We snapped photos and stopped at a candy store for a treat.

Ellie and her horses

You learn something new everyday, right? I learned a few things about horses when I spent the evening with miss Ellie. Apparently the theme with horses is "safety in numbers" because Blaze was uncomfortable with his photographic debut without his friend Lily nearby. Once she entered the scene he calmed down a little. Ellie loves her horses and was so excited to see Lily come around the corner to join us. I remember loving horses just like Ellie when I was a little girl. I would dream of having my own horse. But Ellie is living that life and she shares a bond with them. She is so sweet.

Beach fun!

This was one of my favorite sessions: great kids and a mom who gave me total creative control. I loved watching the girls splashing in the water in their dresses. A beautiful night, great memories.

Rain? What rain?!

I love working with such easy going families! We did this whole session under awnings and I had a great time doing it. Lots of smiles, dress-up, dancing and hugs. Lots of love. Thank you for a fun Saturday morning.
