Monica and Brendan--Engaged!

I am used to expecting the unexpected with little kiddos in their photo shoots but I am realizing now that I should also expect the same with engagement photos : ) It keeps things interesting when there is a dog and a "dog-handler" who comes along. I had a lot of good laughs. Thank you for a fun evening! : )

Sophia turns one!

This was the most refreshing photo session! This cutie was happy and easy going for her photos. I know little Sophia from church and she has always been such a doll. I took her newborn photos with her adoring big brothers snuggling up close. And now she is taking her first steps and is full of smiles and personality. She already has a preference for big, bold jewelry---check out the last image : )

Jason and Andrea--Engaged!

No...I don't shoot weddings. HOWEVER, I am so glad I made an exception for this couple. They are the nicest people and I truly had fun with them on their engagement shoot. I was able to get to know the soon-to-be bride and groom enough to know they are fun, relaxed, and genuinely in love. Jason and Andrea, I can't wait until your big day.

Some days my work involves a lot of running and trying out different strategies. I found that most of these days involve 2 or 3 year old boys ; ) Since I have a three year old son I am quite familiar with the concept of a busy little boy. When this little one stops and smiles though, he sure is handsome. His little sister Kendall was tired for her big close-up so we worked with her back in the studio after her nap. Very adorable kids, thank you for bringing them over again.

Brotherly Love

I love to see a bond between brothers. I have two little boys so it is always special to see a little boy with his new baby brother. So much will change in the next couple of years. He will go from a tiny little baby to a best friend. These two will have a lot of fun together. There will be plenty of time for playing someday...now it is time for some cuddles.

Olivia, six months

Shandra, your little girl is one of the cutest little ones I have ever seen! Her big beautiful eyes and bright personality made for a fun photo session. I think back to six months ago when she fit so snuggly in her daddy's hands---she has grown! I adore this little one and I look forward to working with her again as she grows.

Ok, I know I use the word "sweet" a lot, but honestly...kids cannot possibly be any sweeter than these two. I have worked with many siblings the last couple of years and to see two young ones like these get along so well and enjoy being next to each other was so refreshing! They were very polite and simply adorable. It was truly a joy to work with them.
